Does anyone know of a quality CRT hood manufacturer? I'm selling my 17' LCD and getting two 19" Viewsonic P95f+B's... I'd like to throw some hoods on them though, I have a lot of natural light that I cannot block out, and hoods would be perfect. Thanks in advance for any responses on this.

Why not just buy a LaCie Electron Blue III? It's a great monitor and it comes with a hood.

i am guesing price that viewsonic has a great picture and can be had for only 248 at buy.com with free shiping, I will probably buy this to accompany my 17 studio CRT

Yes, price is part of the factor, but mainly to MY eye, the Viewsonic has a better picture and clarity than the Lacie. (after working 7 months on my 17" LCD and a 22" CD during a contract job, looking at the Viewsonic, it is much crisper and richer than compared to the Lacie.) An EBIII 19" is around $800 CANADIAN. I can get 2 P95f+b's for a $1100 CANADIAN with an ADC > VGA adapter. So I more than double my workspace, and save myself ;
1)$1200 CAN for a used 17' LCD to go with my 17' LCD that I use now
2)$250 for a DVI > ADC connector
3)$350 for a Radeon 7500 PCI card

I'd rather sell my 17' LCD and get the two Viewsonics, have money leftover for a 120 gig HD to go with my new Sonnet ATA card, and put the $1800 I would have spent on the second LCD towards a TiBook.

Anybody know of a hood manufacturer for CRT's?
