I need some help!

Spilled a little coffee on the left side of the keyboard (Caps Lock, Shift, Ctrl, A, S, Z). Worked fine for a few hours and then noticed that those keys stopped working along with the right side "Enter" key. All other keys worked fine.

Popped out the keys and tried to clean and see if there was still some moisture in there. Not a lot. However, when I plugged everything back in nothing worked at all. The green light no longer turns on on the Caps Lock. The mouse, however, plugged in through the keyboard does work.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I can still navigate everything via mouse, so I should be able to read this later. Just won't be able to reply.

Thanks a lot!

the *exact* same thing happend to me last week. I spilled a bit of coffee on the right side of an apple pro keyboard. it worked for a bit (an hour, perhaps), but I unplugged it to let it dry. after a few hrs of drying, it didn't work anymore. it's dead. made a trip to wal-mart and picked up a logitech keyboard. it works well, and they have drivers for os x. note: drives only needed for that keyboard's features. works great without drivers, with one caveat: the command/apple key isn't where they have the icon. rather, pressing the windows key acts as command/apple.

if you ever spill anything on your keyboard always umplug it ASAP, and let it dry in the sun for at least a day or two, in order to get all the mostiur out of the keyboard or you will fry the circuits like you both have done sorry but time to get the walet and pony up the cash for a new keyboard

I GOT WASTED WITH PHIL SHERRY!!!
