I have been syncing very well for several months until recently. I use a Keyspan USB PDA adapter on a CRT iMac. Recently I had to do a hard reset on my palm because my touch screen had drifted to the point that I couldn't recalibrate under prefs.

After restoring all my old data from my windows machine, my mac won't recognize it any more. When I hotsync, the hotsync window comes up and stops when it gets to "Establishing Connection." It won't recognize my user id, and just gets stuck there until my palm aborts the hotsync. The only way I can get it to sync with the mac is if I do another hard reset on my palm and wipe all the info on it. Then the Mac will come to the point of asking me which user I am in attempt to restore my palm. But then again it freezes up.

Anyone have any suggestions? My palm still syncs just fine with my windows machine, but I want to be able to sync with iSync again.

Something like that just happened to me.

My Palm (M515) worked fine with Palm Desktop 4.0 and OS 10.2. Entourage X sync worked flawles, too.

Then, suddenly, hotsnyc stopped to work. Re-installing all Palm software didn't get it back to work. Weird enough, syncingto a PC still works, so I guess it can't be the Palm's problem, right ?
