CUPS and imagewriters

	On LINUX sites there are multiple references to using imagewriters IIs and LQs] via CUPS. If this is so can Mac users use imagewriters in OS X 10.2? I realize that the printer has to be on ethernet but I have an Imagewriter LQ with an ethernet board and a Dyana etherprint that used to work over ethernet flawlessly under System 9.x.
