Is there any way I can use this (Epson 5700i) printer with Jaguar? Epson's site does not list any drivers.

I can't beleive that a basic laser printer is still unsupported.

My EPL-5700i has been a big heavy paperweight for more than a year and a half now. The OS 9 driver was terrible, but at least you could print. I have no (realistic) hopes of Epson ever releasing an OS X driver for this printer.

I tried GIMP-Print because it stated that the EPL-5700 (not "i") might be supported. It didn't work with the 5700i.

At this point I'm looking at buying an expensive PostScript/Ethernet/Duplex laser from HP so that I never have to worry about drivers again. (PostScript printers can simply uses Apple's LaserWriter drivers.) I just have to be patient until I have $1000 that I don't need to spend on something more important.

Wow, These are not the answers that I was hoping for. I guess I will have to tell my father to take the printer to his office (where he still uses 9) - and bring back the crappy ink-jet so that he can print @ home.

Thanx for the responses gang. :-)
