I just bought a RADEON 8500 and a Planar PV174. (They replaced a 17" ADC CRT and an original RADEON) I'm enjoying them both a lot. There is a problem though... When I'm in VGA, I can switch resolutions with ease. When I'm in DVI however, if I'm in ANY resolution besides 1280x1024 (like 1024x768, 640x480) the screen moves to the bottom and the rest of the screen turns grey. Only the top ten percent of the screen is on the bottom. Someone please help ASAP. Thanks in advanced.

1280x1024 is the native resolution of this monitor. I've seen this sort of thing with other DVI monitors (the one I am currently using right now, for example - ViewSonic VPD180).

It seems, for some reason that the monitor is only happy working in its native resolution when connected via DVI. So unfortunately you're answer is to use the monitor in its native res. with DVI or use only the VGA connector.
