Hi guys,

I'm considering getting a pda. The single most important thing is that it has to be able to sync with Entourage for OSX. However, I'm a student, so am looking for the cheapest deal possible, almost definitely second hand. Would a Palm 3c do the job? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Not sure on how cheap you are looking to go, but here are some thoughts.

All listed will sync with OSX
sub 100.00

look for the Palm V - one of the nicest designs ever. Lots of accessories. Only con is the limitied ram will keep you from storing ebooks and the like. Great for Pim stuff and will sync with OSX. about 50-60.00 on ebay.

Visor (8mb version)- not sure the names on these unit but refurbs were 99.00 at Compusa last month. A bit less stylish but more memory and 90 warranty.

100-150.00 range

Palm VX - Again, great design but with 8mb of ram, ebay for around 100.00 (possibly less)

Palm M500- I have seen these for as low as 135.00 on ebay if you hit them correctly.

Clie SL-10 - nice machine at 150.00 new with memory stick option.

These are my favorites in these ranges. You can also look at the Palm III series machines and even the new Palm Zire.

Good luck.
