I just purchased the 1260 scanner. Well, I bought one and it works really well. The only thing is the light inside the unit does not go off!! It is supposed to power off after 15 - 20 mins. But it does not. Only if I disconnect the usb or put the mac to sleep or shut down. Then it goes out.

Anyone else having this happen??

I am using Mac OS 10.1.5

I emailed Epson support and they said don't plug it into a hub, plug it straight into the USB port on the computer, and then it will sleep. I tried that and it's sleeping now.
