I am in the market for a 3 piece speaker system. I have done a search under speakers and have found some great comments on the Monsoon speakers. I looked at the Monsoon web site and found two models in my price range, the iM700 and the MM702. It seems like the iM700 would match my Quicksilver and 17" Studio Display better than the 702. Has anyone compared the two speakers. Where is the best place to purchase the speakers. Thanks

CompUSA and Microcenter both claim to sell them, though I had a hard time finding any in my area. Given the unusual design of the Monsoon speakers, I think you ought to find a retailer in your area that has them in stock, rather than taking a leap of faith and buying online. Of course you can buy online, but I think speakers are the type of product that you want to check out in person first.
