I know this guy who has a Canon PowerShot S30 and he needs to know how to import the video... Now I am told that when I plug in the USB cable it should appear on the desktop as a device.. and it's just not happening. iPhoto launches and he can import pictures just fine. Also drives are set up to show up the desktop. This is with 10.2.1, any ideas?

I also have the S30. Just select image capture to download everything and all will be downloaded...
It should appear as a removeable drive on your desktop.

I currently use 10.2.1, but it works with every OS.
