I have an Airport Base Station 2 that is working incredibly well with two macs and three PCs. I soon plan on investing in a PS2 broadband adapter, and I need a way to get our cable modem connection which is upstairs to the Home Theatre downstairs. Obviously, I would love to use the wireless connection, but I have no idea how I would make that happen.

So I'm wondering if anyone is aware of a product that would receive a wireless signal and then output it through a standard ethernet connection. I know I could use another Mac to do it, but it seems rediculous to spend three times the price of a PS2 just to give it a network connection. Any other ideas?

you want something that acts as a wireless (802.11b) to ethernet bridge. these are fairly common and not very expensive. check a big tech store like BestBuy or search on the web at the usual e-tailers.
