The disc that was included with mine (v1.02) only had the classic versions of the third party software, yet the manuals each were based on the OS X native versions. Did anyone get the carbon versions included?

Carbon is in there... Look under the OSX folder on the CD.

I just did a drag-and-drop of the "driver" into the plug-ins folder of graphic converter (under Library/graphic converter/plugins, I think) and bam, I had scanning in OSX without Photoshop!

I must say, the highest res scans quite well and fast compared to my old Umax.

But how about PhotoStudio/PhotoBase/OmniPage SE? Were the carbon versions of those on your CD?

Sorry. Misunderstood. They are all classic apps. I use GC for all my graphic needs so I don't use those programs.
