I have a Canon LIDE30 and it is bus powered. That means I have to plug it into my computer directly and not through the convenient keyboard port.

So here is my question: Can I buy any powered USB hub to work with this scanner or am I limited? The only other USB device I have (other than the keyboard and mouse) is my Canon Printer (which works through the keyboard). I don't want to plug and unplug something every time I need to scan or print.

Suggestions?

Thanks.

Any powered USB hub will work. I've got a Belkin 7 port and I've also used a Belkin 4 port, and they work fine.
