So it doesn't work at all with any of the older G4 models? I've got one of the old G4s with 450 mhz, 2x AGP. I'm planning on replacing it probably by the end of 2003, but I need a better graphics card now, for various purposes (I have an ATI Rage 128 or Pro, not sure which, with 16 mb VRAM) and I want to be able to just transfer a new card over to a future computer - in other words I want a card that will stay good and which I won't have to replace any time soon...

So, if I buy the Geforce4 Ti, and put it into my 2x AGP slot, will it not be recognized at all (are the shapes of the slots different? I'm kinda fuzzy on my hardware department) or will my computer simply not support a lot of the features and/or not utilize it near its maximum capacity?

Thanks
I've been so many places, I've seen so many faces, and these blue, green, and purple HILLS

I think it has to do with the card needing to draw extra power straight from the motherboard which is only something the 4x and above boards can do. Can someone confirm?
