I bought a T68i on Friday after much research and have to say I am very impressed with it. This phone does enough for me to let me dump my Vx.
Shame it doesn't suit yur needs after all, as being able to fit all the info into a device this small would be ideal

One thing I haven't figured out. When you list "missed calls" it gives the time of the last call of each person and the number of calls they made. How do I list the other times they called? On my Nokia I just hit "down" and it would list each time.
I'm still playing around with it because I can't get the internet to work on it. Is there an easy way to download rings? I hate all the rings it came with.

What really annoys me is that the 'Mobile Internet' section of Sonyericsson's website does not seem to work in any Mac browser once you log in. (I've tried IE, Netscape 7, Mozilla, and Chimera 0.6 so far)
Without Bluetooth this seems like a good way to transfer pictures.
Another way I have thought of is iBook to Palm Vx via Hotsync and then to T68i via IR. Anyone know a way of getting gifs onto the palm?

hey jimsmac, i got my T68i this past friday too! I really love this phone. I was about to get a Sidekick, but found it awkward to talk on without the headset, and I didn't want to be using that all the time.
For me, the biggest concerns I had wtih my previous phone was having to manage 2 address books. That's why I got the T68i and I love it.
About WAP and Mac browsers. The latest version/beta of Opera actually lets you go to WAP sites.
If you look in the "Discover my T68i' thread a few threads down in Peripherals ( http://forums.macnn.com/57/consumer-hardware-and-components/131965/discover-my-t68i/) you'll see near the bottom that someone posted links to some T68i enthusiest sites. I downloaded some ringtones from there, so now I have Simpsons and some Zepplin on my phone.

Yes, I'm very pleased. However took it back and exchanged it for another unit just now as the earpiece was buzzing when making a call. (Some sort of interference from the transmitter I believe.)
The new unit works fine. Just got to sync all of my contacts onto it now. (Yes it is great only having one set of contacts that now I can sort of keep synced between Outlook, OS X Address Book, iPod, Vx, and the phone.

I have had lots of cellphones, The Nokia 8860 (top of the line), Moterola and now this Sony Ericsson T68i.
The T68i is the best phone I have ever used. The joystick is incredible, the battery life is 10 times longer then Nokia and it is small and light like you wouldn't believe.
I have seen the Danger and like all the reviews say the phone part of it is the weakest feature. I want my "phone" to work as a really good phone first and all the other stuff comes second.
The T68i is just that, awesome phone, good at everything else.
6 hour talk time, who can complaine about that?

Actually, I want a phone that is small with awesome battery life and Text messaging, some WAP, colour screen and high customization. The t68i is just that.
