I am using an Umax Astra 2200 and run Jaguar and it drives me nuts having to go in to Classic and the other issues that brings up. Is there a decent scanner out there $200.00 or less that is OS 10.2 compatible?

I use the Canon LiDE 30 which is 10.2.2 compatible and is USB bus powered.

The quality of the scans is great and the buttons now work in OS X as well.

Epson 1660 Photo. Epson makes the best scanners around.
