My almost a year old iPod, can't be reseted. I didn't used it for 6 days and today I tried to use it and it was dead.
I tried to reset it holding down play & menu and nothing.
I'm using up to date firmware.
Please help I have some files that I need there

Try plugging it in for awhile. Sometimes the battery gets so drained it doesn't want to respond to a reset. Whenever that's happened to me, a little charging seems to fix it up...

damn I thought the tread said, "help I can't resist iPod"

but have you tried reseting the firmware?
