I am thinking of getting a Sony Clié PEG-SL10 instead of a Palm Zire (only £10 more on Amazon).

Do I need to get the Missing Sync software to sync the Address Book and iCal stuff or will it just work. This seems a far better palm device than the Zire.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

(my Minolta DiMAGE S304 camera takes Compact Flash so not an issue)

After some research I believe that it will work although there will be no Memory stick access etc.

there kinda is no memory stick support, but i can install files on it
i think its just that i cant access the memory stick as a disk on the desktop

I have had three Palms and liked them very much. After I had problems with my Palm VIIx I switched to the Sony Clie' 615c which is very nice. I haven't used the Clie' as much as I did my Palm because I don't like or haven't adjusted to "Missing Sync" and I haven't been able to get iSync to work with my Clie'.

Overall, the Clie' is the best I've seen and the reason I'm in this forum is to try to learn more options to get more use out of my Clie'

I use my Sony Clie PEG-S320 with OS X and it works like a charm with both iSync and Palm Desktop (I use iSync exclusively now). I haven't tried memory stick access from the computer, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work. I remember reading that at the Clie-Mac forum.
