I am trying to decide between the Epson C82 and the HP Deskjet 5550. Could you guys let me know any positives and negatives you have seen
with either? Key points are:
-Jaguar Compatibility and future version support
-Simple home office use, not starting a printing press
-Long term sturdiness
-Print Quality

If anyone has any others that they really like a lot around $150 please let
me know!

Both will be compatible with OS X. I believe that the C82 might have a slight edge in photo quality but there is more to consider. Epson uses a top feed system that will fail before any bottom feed system. It also builds its heads directly into its printers, which if they fail, you will likely end up buying a new printer. If you have a head failure on the HP, simply replace the cartridge. I also believe that the HP will be cheaper per page and have better text output.
