If Apple would just open up the API, imagine all the cool iPod apps there could be! Games, utilities, PDA Thingies™, and who knows what else... Come on Apple! I know you can hear me!!

That would be so fun… Apple should at least make more games, if not open the API to developers.
Obviously, it's not all that crucial… of course… but I'm just contemplating things to do with my new toy.

rather than more games, i'd much rather have autonomous file download ability off of compact flash (so that i wouldn't have to buy a very redundant mindstor to grab pics off my digicam while travelling), or the ability to record audio direct-to-disk. the device certainly has the power to do all this...
