My setup:
G4 466 (DA) with ADC.
NEC FP1350x monitor with DVI output.
I currently connect via analog in/out.
Most of my work is web design and video, no print work.
Two questions:

1) Are there any benefits to connecting from monitor's DVI to G4 ADC?
2) Is above even possible? I think I would need an adapter, perhaps somethign like Dr.Bott's DVI Extractor II (http://www.drbott.com/prod/db.lasso?code=0123-ADE2)

Any insight would be appreciated.
