How come no one makes a PCI Cable Modem? I've seen older ones before but they were all the ancient Downstream Only kind. I have a 3com modem now and before I had a netgear. Now if you've ever seen a new PCI Ethernet card, nowadays thier about 4 Square Inches, thats all!! No kidding! Now it seems like one would need litte more than the components on one of those tiny ethernet cards, and the components on one of ATI's TV Tuner PCI cards. Now if you've ever seen a FULL SIZE PCI card, they are HUGE. Nearly every computer is built to take a full size one yet very very few cards are that big. Now it seems to me, it would make perfect sense, and be very easy, to squeeze all these things together and come up with a PCI Cable Modem, DOCSIS of coarse. Give it the same $30 price tag as the sweet 3Com one I have, and that would seriously help out my Server/Router, becuase it is nothign but a cabling MESS right now.
