I use a PC monitor whose power is supplied by the CPU. (ie the power cord of my monitor is connected to the back of my PowerMac 8600.)

How can I use the monitor with a computer that does not have a power out/through for the monitor?

Or perhaps, is there an adapter I can get that allows me to connect the monitor straight to the power socket on the wall? Where do I get it?

Thanks!

Try this place:

Or better yet, Radio Shack if there's one near you.
