Just wondering what people think of the new ipod earbuds. Are they any good? Comfortable? Any different from the old ipod version? How's the sound quality? I read that they are louder than the previous versions...

They have more bass and are smaller in size.

The included headphones are pretty good. Not fantastic, but good. I liked the Bose Noise Reduction headphones, but they are twice as large the iPod itself. for day to day, I use the Sony MDR-EX70SL, in ear headphones. Great bass in a small package.

They are a bit better in terms of size than the original ones, but the wires are too darn long for using with the remote. Sound quality is ok, but can't match even a relatively cheap set of good headphones.

They're okay, I replaced mine because they hurt my ears. Got the KOSS something 50's, the ones that go around your ear (but not around your head). MUCH better sound.

I think they're quite good when compared to the earbuds often included with other players on the market.
I have an older 5GB iPod with the original earbuds. I recently bought the remote/new earbud package (for the remote, really), and was quite surprised that the earbuds are as good as they are. Much better than the old ones.
Of course, there are plenty of better 'phones on the market, but no one that I've seen ever includes anything of quality in the box like that.

The new earbuds are pretty good- especially for something packaged with a player, as someone pointed out.
My ears don't hold them particularly well, so I splurged on Sony's MDREX70LP (20th Anniversay Fontopia). $50, in-ear. They sound incredible and are quite comfortable.

I'm happy with them, not exactly an audiophile or anything (just bass happy)... soo I was pleased when I first tried them.
They are very loud in comparison to most headphones I've used (everything from $30 headphones down)
I don't spend $140 on headphones tho, no thanks.
These sounded like a good set of $60 headphones would to me.. really good quality and the bass is amazing for something so tiny.

I'm very happy with them - they fit me perfectly, sound great to my ears and I really like the white finish. As someone else said, they're just too long to use with the remote though. That aside they're great.
