I have a Microtek X6 scanner that ran well under OS 9.1 with Photoshop. I have since installed OS 10.2.2 and have reinstalled Photoshop which runs in classic mode. I have tried re-installing the drivers for the scanner but they will not install in classic mode or if I try it directly from OS 9.1.

What happens is that it keeps getting stuck, it seems to indefinetely stick when the "peparing to install" diolog box comes up. If I leave it here too long, my mouse pointer will dissapear also!

I've restarted and tried several times, downloaded the most current Microtek driver (1.3.1 I beleive) but no good. It doesn't seem to want to install.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Toad
