I don't own one, but i've played with one extensively.

Image quality is excellent. For the price and size, it really does take shockingly good photos.

Don't know on battery life, sorry.

Works great with Jag and iPhoto.

I have one of these cameras. I think that the image quality is good for its size, but I don't think it is as good as my old Kodak DC280 (2.1 megapixel, about 2.5 years old).
The Canon flash is not as good, so indoor pictures look darker and less definite.
The Canon is about 1/3 the volume of the Kodak, which is a big plus.
The movie feature on the Canon is worthless in my mind - the movies are of poor quality.
So far the battery life has been very good, but I have recharged it ahead of using it each time. I took 50 pictures on Saturday without seeing any low battery indication (that's the most I've taken at once).
It integrates well with Jaguar - Image Capture and iPhoto both recognize it, and Image Capture can also recognize movie files on it.
I won the Canon in a drawing, but I still haven't decided for sure whether I'll keep it or the Kodak. It's not a "stunner" to me.
