i have an ibm travelstar 48gb firewire drive. the other day while copying info while running os x i got an error and my powerbook froze up. after restarting in os 9 the drive came up as unreadable and i was asked if i wanted to initialize it. since i would like to keep everything on the drive i chose not to. i am not able to get my ti to recognize the drive in os x.

anyone able to guide me here?
