Is it possible or common to use one firewire enclosure and swap out multiple ide or eide drives? Or are the hookups to involved and complicated such that that makes it impractical?
there are some enclosures that have 2 pieces .. one holds the drive and the other establishes the connection... they are hotswappable I think.. if it hasn't been addressed by the time I get home I will look it up otherwise I found them just by searching google for enclosure.. here is something else that is actualluy advertised on this forum: http://www.wiebetech.com/
for the price it was not right for what I wanted but if you are looking for a multiple drive single connection solution it may be worth it to you.. using a regular enclosure would involve taking it apart and putting back together up to you but a pretty simple process...
