I decided to go ahead and take the leap from Entourage to iCal now that I have a shiny new Palm Tungsten, and now that Entourage is starting to appear really "OS-9-ish" in light of all of the cool stuff from Apple.

I've installed iCal and iSync, and I've turned off the Entourage conduit. Everything imported from Entourage just fine -- but I'm not getting any sync between iCal and my Palm. Apple Sync DOES appear during the sync progess, but. . .nada.

Yes, I've gone into the Apple Sync conduit, and made sure that everything is on. I've read the Apple help pages, but they don't provide much help (probably partially due to the fact that iSync is in beta).

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I wouldn't count on it working not yet anyway. As you mentioned iSync is still beta and Palm OS 5 is very new.

However, just in case - Did you install Palm Desktop? Apparently iSync needs this installed to sync to a Palm.

Yeah, the Palm Desktop was already installed -- I believe that Entourage requires that to sync as well. Just to be sure, I re-installed it, and the same problem is still there. Oh, well. . .I guess I'll wait for the final release.

I DO see that other people are having success getting their Palms (although I didn't see any Tungten users) to sync, so I wonder if there's a setting I'm missing or something. I guess the obvious difference IS Palm OS 5, but since Entourage is working just fine and the conduit is obviously much older, I wouldn't think that's it off hand.

Any Tungsten owners out there getting iSync to work?
