I'm a new mac user having fun fooling around with my new 1ghz Ti book. Today I purchased a refurbished graphite airport base station from Smalldog and I can't seem to get it to work with my internet connection. I have Verizon DSL with a Westel DSL modem. The Ti book works fine when plugged in directly via the ethernet port. The airport signal is strong and when the base station is connected to the modem the airport connection status says 'connected to the internet via PPPoe'. The Ti book can't get on the internet over the airport connection though. I think I've got everything set up as it should be but ... you never know. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Since no one replied I kept on fussing with the settings myself, which is probably the best learning experience anyway. So in case someone has a similar problem and finds this message in a search, I was able to fix my issue with dragging 'Airport' to the top in the 'Network port configurations' tab of 'Network' in system preferences. I guess in the default setup which had 'Ethernet' at the top it was still trying to connect through that port first and never getting to airport. Works like a charm now and I'm typing this message from another room on the wireless connection! Cool. I love my Powerbook.
