Just received the Lide30 as a gift. I am running 10.2.1 and have photoshop. I have read the posts about console logs filling up, deleting files so the buttons are disabled, etc. I would like to know the easiest way to get up and running. I am not partial to using Canon's supplied software. I will probably be scanning into Photoshop (archival of receipts, records, bills, magazine articles, etc) Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what all this console log stuff is about, but I have a LiDE 30 and it works great. Just install the software, restart, and scan away in Photoshop. The Acquire module is really good.
