I have read that image capture works well under 10.2.1 with the epson 1260 scanners. On my new imac I have installed the twain driver for OSX, ( I did not install any of the other scanner software). When I click on image capture, I just get a box that says "no image capture device detected". In the image capture prefs., I have the box checked for "use twain software". What am is going on? The twain 5 driver shows up in the image capture library.!
thanks

There are two different twain drivers for OS X. I was told by Epson you need 'em both. They are 5.75a and 5.73a. See if installing both helps you.
My pants are fancier than yours!
