Hi all,

what's the size difference 'feel' like on these two ipods. I had the 10Gb, but it was lost in travelling (apple belt clip broke, but I didn't notice until I was out of the airport, busy day with lots of passengers and I was stressed, bugger! Totally gutted about the loss.)

When the insurance comes through, I'lll replace it, but was wondering how much thicker the 20Gb felt. I know it's only 0.12" thicker, but how does this actually feel in use.

The 10Gb is the thinnest of the lot and I really liked it, but the extra 10Gb is a lot of storage.

Thanks for the input.

cheers,

justin.

I wondered the same thing. When I compared them at an Apple Store, I felt that the difference was negligible and that I wouldn't notice it unless I was looking for it. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Side by side, it's easy to see that the 20 is thicker. But by itself I don't think you'd really notice.

The 20 gigger (I have one) is about 3 mm thicker. It is noticably thinner if you compare it side by side, but if you use it on a regular basis, there is virtually no difference (the iPod is designed to fit in your palm so there is no difference in usabilty).

If you have the money and you want to, get a 20 gigger. I have stored some DV video on it, as well as 1,200 songs ... and still some gigs left
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
