Hi all.

Does anyone have any experience with the Archos MM jukebox (the one that plays mpeg4 video out)? I've been waiting for Apple to release a video-enabled iPod, and was hopeful that they would at MW, but alas. I'm basically looking for an mp3 player that will also allow me to play captured video (TV shows, mostly) on my television without having to go through the hassle (and storage problems) of burning VCDs/CDs.

Even though this thing claims to play mp4, does anyone know if it's compatible with QT's exported mp4? Does anyone know if iTunes will recognize it?

Or should I just keep waiting for a video iPod? God only knows how much that would cost....

Up to you of course, but it looks a lot of money for an ugly, limited (USB/10Gig) paperweight.

The reason Apple didn't release a video iPod is that they didn't think they could do it correctly. Archos clearly had no such qualms when they released their product. They should have.
