Does anyone know how to get a 3-button-mouse's scroll wheel to work in OS X Appleworks? It seems to work fine throughout everything else in OS X, but not with Appleworks.

I've got a G3 iBook 500 (2001) and a logitech optical 3-button mouse.

the problem is not your mouse but Appleworks - it does not support scrollwheels.

Thanks for the info. It sucks, of course, but it's good to know.

If I recall, OS 9 Appleworks didn't support scroll wheels for a while, but they eventually came around. I'm surprised OS X hasn't picked this up.

Yup.

FWIW Apple's Preview PDF reader supports the scroll wheel.
