Who makes a usb card that will work with a Power Mac 7500? I would like one that has 4 ports. I don't really need FireWire on this computer because I also own a Pismo.

Thanks

Tony

Lots of places make USB cards that will work. Make sure that it is OHCI compliant and you shouldn't have any problems.

Try Belkin, as they have some good cards that are inexpensive. There are other brands that will work as well too. I have installed really cheap PCI USB cards (around $15) that worked fine, even though they made no mention of Mac support.

Ok I forgot some things in my last post.

I currently have a 2 port usb pci card made by koutech.

Recently it has started not working. I can be using my usb mouse or printing something and then it just stops working.

I believe the card is dieing. When I buy a replacement I know it has to be OHCI compliant.

Does it have to be a USB 1.1 card only?

Thanks

Tony
