Hello,

I have been wanting to buy a Wacom intuos tablet for some time now, but need some clarification first.

Since I have a Titanium Powerbook (1ghz) I am looking for the best intuos to match its looks. I'm not wild about the idea of a purple tablet next to a titanium/black keyed powerbook...

From my little amount of research, the Intuos 1 Special Edition was made in a deep graphite color - almost like the keyboard on a powerbook from the few pictures I have seen of it.

So, are the specs between the Intuos 1 and 2 tablets any differant? If they are the same, I might start searching for the Special Edition of version 1 to buy.

One last Q: With the 15" lcd, will the 6 x 8 be a good size? I think its a good match from what I have heard.

Thanks so much,
bye-

Wacom support would probably tell you, but my guess is the bundled software will be one of the biggest differences.

I have a 4x5 G2 with a 17" crt, and the size seems ok to me. The 6x8 would be nice, though.

i have a 6x8 special edition and it is simular to the graphite iMac in color. To me the 6x8 is the perfect size wacom. can be big is you intenbd to do alot of carrying it around but with the right size bag will work out ok.
