I was just wondering if anybody is using a PC Style OEM Radeon 9000 card in a Quicksilver/MDD G4?

I'm sure it is possibly, but just wanted to make sure prior to purchasing. My concern is compatibility, do I have to flash the card with Mac compatible BIOS before I can use it?

I was going to go for a model with DVI out, so that it will work with the Samsung LCD I'm planning on getting in the next few months. My intention is to a run dual display configuration with my existing VGA monitor.

If you haven't purchase it yet, why not get the Mac specific version? Seems more of a sure bet, if a bit more expensive.

Check out http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...threadid=52779 for folks on this forum doing it with a PC Radeon 8500. If there's no info there about the 9000 then perhaps some one there will know about it. HTH.
