Hold on to your seat,

I have a Linotype-Hell Jade2 SCSI scanner. This scanner was at my job when I got here. It was bought in 1998. It is no longer working as of today. The fluorecent tube just sits there and flashes. The scanning software will not run the scanner.

1) What can I do to fix this or do I need to take this in for service

2) Or is it just plain dead
