Okay, i currently have a 667 Powerbook G4 (1 gig of ram) and 48 gig harddrive.

I am almost out of room on my harddrive and am looking to purchase more room. what way is the best to go? firewire hd, just plain harddrive with enclosure? etc.

I also whould like the ability to move it to a windows XP computer when neccessary as i might be getting a new sony vaio [its hard to work in an all XP environment and serving out tech advice and problem solving when i only own a mac]

I am looking for about 120 - 200 gigs

There have been many threads about HDs, try a search both here and in the powerbook forum.

However, I'd suggest getting a regular HD, with a firewire enclosure, and then get MacDrive. See this thread for a reference:
