OK, am I doing something completely stupid? I'm trying to set up my palm to work with iSync, but I don't see iSync in the conduit list for hotsync. Has anyone had this problem / know of it? Thanks.

When you download iSync, there are two installers. One is for iSync itself, and the second will install the Palm conduit.
Did you install both?

i did that right after i posted the message. I have a second question: when I hit the hotsync button, i get an error message:

Unable to initiate hotsync operation because the port is in use by another application.

Im using the USB cradle. I can't seem to figure out why I'm getting this message, because when i hit ok, it brings up the sync window, and i can just hit the sync button, and it works. hmmm..

This is a very common problem that many have who use Palm Desktop for Windows. In almost all of the cases, a simple reinstall of Palm Desktop fixes the problem. I would think that the same would work for a Mac.
