I am wondering what people are using to manage their iPods and sync their iPods among different Macs.
I have downloaded several different applications and Apple Scripts. Some are better than others, but nothing has really grabbed me.
I like XPod is simple and fast, but the UI is awful—it shows just a list of file names which I find not very helpful. PodMaster is interesting. Love all the little jokes (iQuit, iNeedHelp, etc) and it is very fast. While songs can be organized, it is not really practical. And windows do not resize.
What I would really like to find, if it exists, is an application that looks at your iTunes Library, compares it with your iPod Library, and then posts what seems to be diffrent. In a sense, something that does what the iTunes/iPod auto-sync feature does, but only both ways.
