I have this card and it is working good in Jaguar, it is currently limited by not being able to wake up the computer, ie if you have a mouse in the card, it won't wake the machine. This has improved from 10.1.5 which just wouldn't work after sleep. I currently have my printer, ups, and wireless mouse plugged in (for me it turns out I don't like the mouse to turn on the mac). It's a good card.

it's been improved, that's good...

the thing is, the keyboard with the mouse will be installed there... I'm unsatisfied with the 15" lcd usb hub, it doesn't power the two very well with my configuration.

I have the glass "matrix" desks from an office depot (or office max, whatever), and routing the keyboard under the glass to the keyboard shelf permits me to use the mouse there as well. The thing is, the cords are only long enough to allow the extension cord supplied by apple to the keyboard, then the trackball mouse is hooked to the keyboard usb.

The monitor's hub also isn't powerful enough to power a belkin extension cable to my printer or scanner.

I realize the power coming from the video card can only be so much, and I can use the monitor's hub to connect my camera for file transfer (that works fine). I'm sure my monitor's hub is working correctly, it just doesn't handle long cords or multiple connections very well.

Sometimes the mouse won't power up after startup, i have to unplug it, then plug it back in, then it works fine. It's a kensington turbo mouse pro trackball.

are there any other manufacturers who make a 4 port?
