Just got back from Compusa where I picked up a KDS Rad 9 19" LCD Panel for $650 and that's with compusa's two year monitor warranty thrown in!!!

I just read some user reviews at cnet and come to learn they've been selling for $700 with a $100 mail in rebate for a total of $600. I guess I was taken for $50 (I never buy extended warranties), but I still get their preferential warranty treatment if I need it.

So I have a 19" LCD for $650 and it's styled nicely, has a swivel base, analog and dvi inputs, and comes with both cables too boot. Text and graphics are quite sharp.

A pretty sweet deal if you ask me

Interesting... but tell me, why exactly is this in the PowerMac forums?

I thought it a general interest item, so I put it in the power mac forum.

Technically you're right I suppose; perhaps it should be in peripherals?

Care to move it there for me?

KDS is pretty good for the money. They make good value laptops also.

Congratulations on your purchase.

I manage a windows network at work and I've had too many KDS monitors go out on me to buy them again...

Seems like for a bit more that if you're looking for a display superior to Apple's and at 19" you could go with the DVI and Analog Samsung 191t or the rebranded (I think perhaps a different base too) Dell 1900FP for $719 http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...p;sku=320-0249
