I have one of these mice and I can't stand it. It's always flaking out on me. When it works, it's great, but some mornings, I wake up and the mouse isn't on, like there is no laser whatsoever and the base has no lights on it. It's totally plugged in and everything and it usually takes multiple restarts and plugging un plugging the mouse to get it to work. Does anyone else have one of these and experience these problems? I can't wait for an Apple Bluetooth Mouse...it has to happen soon, it only makes sense...

Haven't used the wireless one but I had the corded one for about two months before I gave up on it. Just found the thing to be flaky and it would take a lot of finger pressure before it would recognize clicks. I like the scroll pad but the mouse itself just wouldn't perform. I think it's just a bad design...

My wireless Kensington studio mouse keeps losing communication with the Mac - it goes unresponsive. The mouse won't move. I have to just unplug and replug into my powered USB hub and that solves it. I have tried plugging it into the keyboard, but that doesn't eliminate the intermittent problem, either. It just isn't as good as the original Apple mouse. I just want two buttons and a scroll pad! Why can't Apple give us one?

I second that. My MX500 has been a solid piece of equipment.
