I don't know if this is where I should post this or not, but CompUSA has a $100 instant rebate on the Palm Tungsten T. It is also offering a free 128MB SD Card after rebates.

For those of you who don't like the mail in rebate thing, you can bring the ad (from Sunday's paper) to Circuit City, they will price match 110% of the difference, and sell you the Tungsten for $389.99. They will also match the instant rebate on the memory card and sell it to you for $69.99.

Anyway, I thought I would share the news. This deal goes on until the 8th.

And no, I don't work for Palm, CC or CompUSA.
I work for a small non-profit agency, I just wanted to pass this news on, and DealNN isn't up (again).

Peace,

O
B unce!

Amazon has them through J&R for $354. I wonder if I can use my amazon gift certificates for this...

That Tungsten isn't worth $300, much less $500. I was blown away by the cheap fit and finish of a top of the line product from Palm. I guess they have to make $$ somehow...

I'd have to disagree with iChristopher, I've owned a TT for 2 months now and am very happy with the build quality, the sliding mechanism has gradually got smoother/looser but this is apparently normal, still fells solid.

Overall I'm very happy with it, there' a couple of things that will be addressed by a software update soon that will make it complete for me, PalmOS 5.2 will finally include a good proxyless web browser and an MP3 player will be added.
