When the tabletPC came out i was interested a little. It was targeted at business types, so i didnt pay it too much attention,

...but then i got to thinking, "Wouldn't this thing be great for artists? like ditigal paper?"

This interested me a lot more. especially when i found this:

This combination of a touchscreen laptop with drawing software sounds really cool. But I really don't want to end up a reverse switcher. Are there any trouchscreen solutions for Mac laptops? If so are they resonably priced, and acurate enough to use with photoshop or similar apps?

probably not, but i figued if anyone would know the macnn forums folks would.

TrollTouch has a touch screen iBook, and I beleive they can retrofit other notebooks ... that said, it might not be sensitive enough for artists, but may only be good enough for finger painting

Has anyone used these? they had them at MacWorld

TrollTouch looks interesting but... they say call for pricing (which means its TOO much)... and i can't tell if their producs are just add-ons, or if you have to buy a PC from them with the touchscreen pre-installed.

either way not exactly what i was looking for....thanks for the link anyway

maybe Apple will finally come out with its own tabletMac later this year.....

well in a UK store called Comet, they have the old style iMacs (advertising for Dysons) with a cable going from the back of the screen to a usb port ~ do you think they changed the screen on the iMacs?
