hi,

i just bought a clie sl10 - but i am not able to sync it with my mac (10.2.3, usb-cable-connection). i use missing sync, but this doesn't change the case.
i *am* able to do a hot-sync with the hot-sync manager from palm desktop 4.0. but *nothing* syncs (even if he makes some noises and tells me that everything was synced ok).

so my questions:

1. is there anybody out there who has successfully synced a SL10 with mac os x, using usb-cable-connection/isync1.0/missing sync?

2. are there any tips how i also can do this?

desperately:

I've got the SJ-30, which is basically the same as yours but with a colour screen and a bit more memory. It is well-known that the SJ series does not need 'Missing Sync' to synchronise with OSX (10.2.3) in my case - there have been various threads on this in the past. I use the MS Entourage conduit to synchronise my contacts and calendar.

If the Palm HSM informs you that everything has synchronised okay, what is failing to synchronise? Are you using the full Palm desktop?

I also used iCal and iSynch for a bit but removed it as I am happy with Entourage.

hi,

thx for your motivation first!

i think my main problem is, that i can't add my clie to isync as a new device. the apple help tells me that i have to add the new device with hot sync manager, there i should - so apple help - choose "conduit-settings" from the hot-sync menue, and then i should choose "isync"-option. but this option is not there. perhaps a bug in the german help?

thx in advance:
