I was wondering if the any SD card can be used for the Palm handhelds. Is there any advantage to buying one of the Palm 16MB expansion cards versus a SanDisk SD card?

Generally any SD can be used, however the Sandisk cards can have crappy write speeds, best go with Lexar or Panasonic. The Panasonic ones are generally best, many people offer rebranded Panasonic cards such as DaneElectric.

I have a 256Mb DaneElectric (Panasonic) card in my TT, works great.

www.dealram.com has a good price tracker for SD cards (choose Secure Digital from the Memory Cards menu on the top right corner). I don't know what Palm's card costs, but digi4me.com is listed as having 64MB cards for $36, shipped.
