Help me before I smush my Clie n-610

To summerize: Had Clie. Loved it. Faithfully backed up onto my mac. Weird loss of power occured and lost all data. Thought, "well gee I've backed up so life is good" But no... now I cannot get my files back onto the Clie. I have tried everything, but it keeps resetting all the applications (like address book etc.) as if they never had any info in them. In other words I have the apps, but none of my old data. I would happily delete all the apps from the Clie and start fresh, but it keeps telling me I can't. any help/advice on this would be sooooo much appreciated.  javascript :smilie(' ')

Sorry to hear about your Clie problems!
Hopefully, you've found a solution by now, but if not, check out the Sony forum at the following website:
http://www.palminfocenter.com/forum/
They often provide great info on Palm-based PDAs and may already have a thread regarding the issue. I just bought a Clie myself and don't feel too confidant handing out info to you personally.
